The teaching methods of this course include case study, cultural contrast, team-work study, project-based study.With the help of modern information technology, the teaching design of the course is optimized, with a view to improving teaching effect.

Before class, students learn about the knowledge through ppt documents uploaded to rain classroom, and watch videos from massive open online courses. We have classes in multi-media classrooms, with the help of rain classroom, a plug-in to powerpoint. It helps to collect and analyze simultaneous data, by conducting a survey, completing a quiz, or making bullet-screen comments. After class, students log in pigai net, rain classroom or unipus to finish English output assignment.

Five teachers on the team have been assessed excellent in classroom teaching by the university. Three obtained “Best Quality Award” in undergraduate teaching in 2019, being the only three winners in College of English. In a provincial teaching contest in 2019, the team has won the First Prize by the teaching demonstration of this course. The excellence rate of the team in teaching assessment often tops the teaching assessment list in College of English.
