Communication is a process in which people attempt to share their internal states with other people through the use of symbols.

2. 3 Aspects

There are three aspects to communication: our individual personality, the culture we operate in, and the physical environment that surrounds us.

3. 5W Pattern

As to the pattern of communication, the most accepted one was proposed by Harold Lasswell, known as 5W pattern, including who, says what, in what channel, to whom, with what effects. It briefly summarized the main procedure of communication.

 4. Importance

Communication is central to our existence. It helps us explore the world around us, establish interpersonal relationships, make us understood by others, and satisfy our needs.
