There are two maintypes of model of teaching using in the course, middle school chemistryteaching.

《基础化学》的授课形式主要有两种：

1. 1.      Lecturesand discussion: 60%

Understatingthe middle school chemistry teaching methods and strategies based on thestudents mastery of educational theory, learning theory, epistemology duringthe course study.

讲授和小组讨论为主的课堂教学：占整个课程授课时间的60%。在基础化学的学习过程中，需要让学生在认识和理解指出化学的基础上，认识和了解中学化学教学的方法及策略。

1. 2.      Studentsin class practice: 40%

The course,middle school chemistry teaching strategies, is a practical skill course thatcombine theory and practice. Therefore, it is really important for the studentsto experience real teaching situation. The practical experience is composed oftwo parts:

学生讲课评课的课堂教学：占整个课程授课时间的40%。基础化学是一门理论与实践相结合的实践性课程。因此，该课程学习过程中最重要的是学生在真实教学情境中的教学体验。本课程中的教学实践活动由两个部分组成：

1. 1)      Micro-teachingpractice.

The micro-teaching itselfdoesn’t count into the whole teaching period, however, the teaching design mustbe included in the curriculum.

（1）微观教学实践。微观教学的上课时间不计在本课实践时间内，但教学设计也必须包括在该课程实践内；

1. 2)      Simulatingteaching practice.

Each student must completeone 10-15 min simulating teaching, which includes the evaluation of bothinstructor and peer. Since only through a certain amount of lecturing andevaluating, students can fully understand classroom teaching.

（2）课堂教学体验。每个同学完成一次10-15分钟的课堂教学，并包含教师评课和学生相互评课部分。一定量的讲课和评课是促进学生深入认识和理解课堂教学的重要方式。

The mainobjectives of the course, general chemistry, is to make the students master middleschool chemistry teaching methods and strategies, cultivate their ability inthe middle school chemistry teaching and researching, which qualifies them tobecome professional chemistry teachers. Detailed course objectives include:

《基础化学》的主要目的就是，使化学教育专业的师范生掌握一定的中学化学教学的方法及策略，培养他们从事中学化学教学工作和进行教学研究的初步能力，使他们成为具备专业化水准的中学化学教师。具体的课程目标包括：

1.     Understanding the fundamentals of the theory ofteaching and learning, and mastering how such theory related with real caseteaching.

让学生了解和掌握一些“教和学”的基本原理，并形成将这些基本原理应用于中学化学教学实践的能力。

1. 2.      Following the new resultsof chemical pedagogics, new tendency of chemistry educational reform, and newdevelopment of application of modern educational methods and strategies inchemistry teaching.

让学生了解化学教育教学研究的新成果，了解基础教育阶段化学教学改革的新动向，以及现代教学技术在化学教学的作用及其发展新趋势。

1. 3.      Mastering the basicchemistry teaching methods and strategies, modern teaching technology, andmethods that promoting effective leaning, which qualified the students becomeprofessional teachers.

让学生掌握必要的化学教学的基本方法和策略，具备从事教师职业的基本能力，并且能够掌握一定的现代教学技术，以更好地提高教学效果。

4.     Experiencing the chemistry teaching processthrough in class practice, processing the middle school chemistry teachingskills and quality, developing positive, motivational, conscientious, and dedicatedprofessional qualities.

让学生通过课堂实践练习，更好地体验化学教学的过程，初步具备适应中学化学教学的技能和素质，养成积极进取、有责任心和爱岗敬业的基本职业品质。
