Housekeeping department plays an important role in providing positive first impressions in regards of cleanliness and comfort in the hotel and particularly in the hotel guest rooms.

In order to maintain pre determined performance standards at all times, one of the executive housekeeper’s responsibilities is to ensure that all housekeeping employees receive proper and systematic training according the four steps of the training method:

A job analysis is the foundation of the training program. It includes what knowledge an employee must have, what tasks each employee needs to perform and the standards at which he or she must perform them.
职责分析是训练项目的基础,其中包括员工必须了解的知识,每个员工要完成的任务以及完成的标准。

Managers must also take several other aspects in consideration when preparing to train employees such as: Writing training objectives, deciding on training methods, prepare a training schedule, select the training location and prepare the training area.
