Background Information

Before a tour group leaves a hotel, the guide should make the tourists aware of the need to settle the bill. If the group is leaving our country, the local guide should remind the tourists of their passports, plane tickets and customs inspection. The local guide should tell the tourists when and where to collect their luggage, and check the number of pieces of luggage along with the national guide, the tour leader and the luggage-man to prevent losing any luggage.

After tourists get on the bus, the guide should remind them to check their carry-on bags and see if they have left anything behind. The bus can depart from the hotel only after it is made ensured that everybody is on the bus.
