3.Sample

Tour guide: Mike, we have made a reservation

for 10 double rooms, is it OK?

Tour leader: Well, I’m afraid we have to

make some changes. I need a

connecting room for a family of

four.

Tour guide: Sorry, there is no this kind of

room in the hotel. How about the

suite instead?

Tour leader: What about the rate?

Tour guide: It’s the same as the two rooms.

Tour leader: OK. Besides, we want you to

change the morning call time

from 6:00 to 6:30. Because we

are so tired, we don’t want to get

up so early.

Tour guide: OK, no problem. I’ll confirm

it. Your rooms are on the fourth

floor, altogether eight twin rooms

and one suite. You will get a

morning call at 6:30 tomorrow

morning.

Tour leader: Right. Thank you very much.

Tour guide: You are welcome. One more

thing, because the itinerary on the

first day is quite full, could we

move the visit to the city history

museum to the second day?

Tour leader: OK, it’s up to you.
