Attendance is mandatory. You are required to attend the class. Four or more unexcused absences may disqualify you from taking the final exam. If, for some justifiable reason, you are not able to come to class on a certain day, you must advise the instructor in advance, unless it’s an emergency. Supporting documents (e.g., doctor’s note) should be submitted in order for an absence to be excused.
There will be 3 tests during the semester (they are about the Public speaking, short-term memory, and note taking). Make-up tests will not be permitted except in the case of illness or emergency.
The final exam will cover everything studied during the semester. You are also expected to give an oral presentation on a topic of your own choice towards the end of the semester.
