Pasta 是義大利麵的總稱，至於學校學到的 spaghetti 其實只是一種細圓麵條。義大利麵常會搭配不同麵條、肉類，並淋上不同醬汁（sauce）。

出国玩最少不了的行程当然就是吃吃吃啦~但在国外下馆子的时候，经常会因为我们的中式英语闹出不少笑话。

甚至一些脱口而出的话很容易让老外误以为我们没礼貌。那可不行，出国旅游，你的一言一行不仅代表你自己，更代表着国家的形象！

比如，在餐厅，千万别一嗓子喊个waiter，这是非常不礼貌的！

1  如何称呼"服务员"？

如果你在国外餐厅用餐，可千万别叫服务员waiter，真的很不礼貌！大家都会认为你特别瞧不起服务员！

老外对服务员的称呼一般有以下两种：

① 一般在餐厅

外国人习惯于说“Excuse me”

Excuse me, could you please clean the table?

服务员，请把桌子收拾干净！

Excuse me，Do you have a table for three?

你好，请问有三个人坐的桌子吗？

②或是“Hello”

来吸引服务员的注意，叫他们过来

Hello, May I foot my bill？

服务员，买单。

Hello, Could I have one more cup of juice?

服务员，再要一杯果汁。

所以在餐厅需要帮助时，直接挥手示意，然后用Excuse me或Hello开头，再把你的需求或问题跟服务员说出来就ok了。

 

2  点餐时不要说“I want”！

在英语的语境里，want是个语气非常强的词语！都是要表达“我想...”或者“我要...”。

I want...不仅生硬，听起来也很不礼貌！点餐时，可以用Could I have或 I'd like这种委婉一点的语气来表达，别人听得也比较舒服：

Could I have another napkin?

可以给我另一条餐巾吗？

Hello, I’d like a piece of cheesecake?

您好，我想要一份芝士蛋糕可以吗？

 

3  牛排几分熟怎么说？

Henry来到外国某著名牛排馆。

服务生问他：How would you like your steak?（牛排要几成熟？）

他回答道：80 percent.

服务员一脸懵逼地说：Sorry, we don’t have that…

牛排几分熟，服务生的问法是：How do you like your steak done?

我们的回答一般是：

medium rare（三、四分熟）；medium（半熟）；medium well-done（七分熟）；well-done（全熟），下次吃西餐可别闹笑话哦。

 

4  买单时别说"How much"！

虽然老外也能明白你的意思，只是在英语里这样直接提问，别人会觉得你不懂礼貌~

外国人眼里，账单和人的年龄、工资一样，都属于特别隐私个人的事，想想别人问你多大、每个月工资多少，是什么感受？所以我们看到国外餐厅给账单的时候，一般都是夹在一个小本子里送上来。

然后你直接把钱放进账单本子里面，招手让他过来收就可以了。而且，最好别说how much，直接简单来句Check please就ok。

最简单的要求结账方式就是：
