Every person is surrounded by technology in a way. A typical example is Internet of Things (IoT). It introduces the features of smart homes where you can turn lights on and off through your smart phone. Similarly, it allows you to lock the doors of your entire house by making a few clicks. Hence, besides making lives easier, it is promoting a safe environment at home.
It is amazing to think that we managed to go from the big landline phones to small wireless computers in only a few decades. Now, you can check the web, make calls, watch videos, and even work on your smart phone.Technological innovations have truly changed our lives in so many ways.
They are benefiting almost every industry while changing the way things work. And, of course, innovation has not stopped. You will surely welcome bigger and better innovations sooner or later. After all, the future is all about robots, smart homes and self-driving cars.

What is the most valuable thing in life? Different people hold different opinions. Some
value money most, while some others treasure beauty. However, | do believe in the saying,
"Friendship is one of life's greatest treasures". So, | cherish friends most.
People always say that a life without a friend is a life without a sun. My opinion coincides
with this idea. Man is a social animal. We find fulillment in association with others, especially
those who share common interests with us. Besides, all of us, at certain moments of our lives,
need to take advice and receive help from other people. A good friend is like a mirror. It
shows you not only your shining points but also your shortcomings so as to help you become
a better person.
Of course, another saying goes that a friend in need is a friend indeed. Those who share
only the happy moments are not the friends that | have in my mind, and those who are willing
to share both happiness and hardship are true friends we should treasure.

学生是科技创新的亲历者与见证者,能切实感受到科技给人们生活和社会生产带来的巨大改变。这篇科技议论文生词较多有一定难度,学生需在教师设计活动的基础上读懂文章,并从中找出论点。学生虽然具备初步分析问题的能力,但需要在教师的引导下进一步去思考并分析科技所带来的利与弊,树立正确的科技应用态度。
三、教学目标
1. 学生能够读懂有关科技创新给人们生活带来变化的议论文,了解作者观点;
2. 学生能够梳理议论文的文本结构,了解举例、对比、归纳等论证方法;
3. 学生能够撰写倡议书,树立正确的科技应用态度和社会责任感。

教学重点:梳理议论文的文本结构,提取作者观点。
教学难点:通过举例、比较、归纳等论证科技进步带来的积极与消极影响,撰写倡议书。

Step 1 Warming up
* 铺垫活动:Review。
*1. 拓展活动:展示最佳小视频“我的一日智慧生活”,师生点评。
2. 邀请两位同学按照准备好的思维导图,介绍最喜欢的科技产品,师生点评。

(2)学生通过关键词在文中定位语句,画线作为依据。关注关键词的同义词,细读语句判断正误。
