Sample one

•Warm-up: choose one of the four fruits to describe. You may firstly discuss to negotiate the expressions to the five senses, and then fill in the grid with some key words and sentences.

•Read the passage in 5 minutes and then finish post reading activities in 10 minutes.

•Check the answers and try to learn the way to infer the meaning out of the context.

•Turn the grid on P69 into a piece of short paragraph, later on we will have two students to report to the class.
