My experience with the school canteen could be discouraging. Once I stepped into it, I could hardly move my feet. Many students, including those freshmen in military uniforms, were moving slowly like honey bees, bustling to get their meals. Although I hated to be one of them, my stomach forced me to. When I was lining in the queue, someone constantly pushing me forward and my feet were stepped on for several times. Finally,I moved, actually was pushed, in front of the window. But I had not enough time to choose what I want. Practically, to get something immediately is the only thought I had at the moment.
Before approaching the window of the school canteen, I hesitatedfor a while. I snatched my card tightlybecause I knew I only had a little amount of money left for this month. I must make plans carefullyfor the dishes. It was my turn suddenly. The chef at the window looked at me sternlyas if he knew I could not afford aluxuriousdinner. I ordered a dish randomly, trying to avoid his mocking. He smirkedand shoveled somethingon my plate. When I heard the sound “Di” as I wiped my card, I knew I lost my last straw.
My trip to Guangzhou was a total nightmare. On the light rail, I cannot even took a nap because of the constant noises pounding my ear. Someone was howling with his mobile phone, just like the Earth was going to explode. A middle-aged man, with his yellow-dyed hair, was enjoying a gunfight movie through the loudspeaker of his mobile phone Not faraway two aunties were crazily chatting in my unknown language. What made the situation worse is a crying baby, but her mother did not show any intention to comfort her. I prayed! Yes, what I can do was only praying.
