2. Expression

In order to achieve smooth expression, the translator should:

1) have a proficiency of the target language;

2) deal with well some relations . 

⑴   faithfulness and smoothness

Ex 1. Petroleum is not normally used today in the crude state.

    【O.V】今天石油不经常以原油的形式被使用。

    【C.V】现在人们通常不使用未加工的石油。

Ex 2. To perform untold atrocities

   【O.V】犯下罄竹难书的罪行。

   【C.V】犯下数不清的罪行。

⑵  language form/ structure（语言形式、结构） 

   and language content/ meaning（内容、意义）

Ex 1. Be man of men, be soul of souls.

   【V】生当为人杰，死亦做鬼雄。

Ex 2. The government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.

   【V】这个民有、民治、民享的政府决不会从地球上消亡。
