Today's Learning Guide

In last class, we have learnt the first keypoint in chapter 1 and four sectors of construction industry have been delineated, which are

  1.       Residential construction sector

  2.       Commercial construction sector

  3.       Infrastructure and heavyhighway construction sector

  4.       Industrial construction sector

You guys can review them from the following dimensions

  1.       The features of each sector.

  2.       The differences among these four sectors.

  3.       The differences between the United States and China in these sectors.

In today’s class, we will focus on other key points in this chapter and they are

  1.       The definition, objectives, and characteristics of project

  2.       The definition, project lifecycle, process group, and knowledge domains defined in  PMBOK.

And also, you should understand a project from the perspective of system. I make sure it is a little bit difficult to do that, but it deserves to be done.

Okay, you guys can start your journey of today's lesson, please go to videos from section 2.7 to 2.9 in this teaching platform online.
