Primary packaging :a goodmarketing tool and is seen by the customer 

Secondary can be seen by the retailer alsoseen in discount retail store

Tertiarypackaging ensure “safeand efficient delivery of goods in sound condition”

Three Function

1.Protect the goods from the hazards of international shipping by ocean or by air

        Cost VS protection not a trade-off

2.Facilitate the handling of goods when they are in transit(HOW?)

3.Part of the customer services trategy and often over looked(HOW?)l
