Contents:

Morning reports (10 m)

Part I Warm-up (15 m)

Have you ever lived in the country ? If yes, how do you feel about the  differences between country life and city life? If no, do you wish to live in  the country for some time?

Part II Lead-in (20 m)

In order to  pursue a better life in the city, many farmers leaving their home to find  jobs in big cities, which causes a series of problems in those cities.  Discuss with your partner the following problems in the process of  Urbanlization in China.

Part III Global  reading (45 m)  Teaching  aid

1. Students are  supposed to listen to teacher’s explanations and take notes if necessary.

2. Students are  supposed to do the exercises based on the examples.

3. PPT is used  to make the learning easier and clearer.

4. Students are  demanded to do the exercises independently.

Traffic and housing  problems in major cities could be solved by moving large companies and  factories and their employees to the countryside. To what extent do you agree  or disagree with this opinion?
