Part I: Lead-in (15 m)

1. Do you have any friends? How do you define  friends?

2. Are “buddies the same as “friends”?

Part II: Organization  of the text (40 m)

1. How many parts can the text be  divided into?

2. The main ideas of each part

Part III:. Examples  for these words and expressions (35 m)

Accessory,  adversity, atavistic, bonding, buddy, celluloid, chum, claustrophobic,  confess, cosmic, cull, primal, resiliency, sidekick, tapestry, trenchmate,  etc.

1. Students are  supposed to listen to find some recent films on friendship.
