Pathology is a medical basic science which studies the changes of sick body, combined with functional metabolic changes, elucidate the occurrence and development of disease, and reveal the nature of disease.
     The basic content of pathological anatomy contains two parts: general pathology and systematic pathology. The former is about common basic pathological process in a variety of diseases, and the latter is mainly about the pathological process with special laws of different system. The teaching content should be focused on common and frequently-occurring disease, with a proper introduction of new achievements in domestic and international medicine to reflect the level of modern science.
