上海高校特聘教授(东方学者),上海市康复医学会体育保健康复专业委员会常委、上海市老教授协会“运动健身指导工作站”专家、中国生理学会会员、中国体育科学学会会员、美国运动医学会(ACSM)会员、《上海体育学院学报》和《教育生物学杂志》编委。先后主持包括日本文部科学省科学研究费补助金项目(相当于国家自然科学基金项目)在内的国家级以及省部级科研项目多项;目前主持国家自然科学基金面上项目、国家社科基金重大项目子课题、上海市科委项目以及上海市教委科研项目;担任《Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise》、《Journal of Sport and Health Science》、《Journal of Physical Activity & Health》等多本国际SCI/SSCI来源期刊审稿人。
