2017年5月获聘中山大学中山医学院教授、博士/硕士研究生导师,国家高层次引进人才青年项目入选者,中山大学“百人计划”引进人才。曾获得国家优秀自费留学生奖学金(2014)和German Stem CellNetwork “Publication of The Year”奖(2015)。 王继厂教授课题组在国家重点研发计划、自然科学基金、广东省“珠江人才计划”等项目支持下,利用单细胞组学、化学生物学和基因组编辑等研究手段,以内源性逆转录病毒等反转录转座子为切入点,进行灵长类早期胚胎发育调控机制和异种嵌合体方向的研究,相关研究成果发表于Nature,Nucleic AcidsResearch, Nature Protocols等学术期刊。
