Yibin Zhang is aprofessor of operational management in the School of Business Administration at Lixin University of Accounting & Finance, Shanghai, China. He received aPh.D. in operations management from the Antai College of Economics &Management, Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), and a MS. in Mechanical &Electronic Engineering from Southeast University (SEU). He has served in ZTECooperation and UTStarcom Inc. as a System Engineer and Project Manager for sixyears and worked with Professor Steve Evens for six months as Visiting AcademicFellow in the Manufacturing and Management Division at University ofCambridge and Dean Yunzeng Wang for one year as a Visiting Scholar in theAnderson Management School at University of California, Riverside. His researchchiefly focuses on supply chain management, technological innovation andOperations/Accounting/Finance Interface. His research work has been publishedor accepted by journals such as International Journal of Production Economics,Group Decision and Negotiation, Journal of Cleaner Production, Int. J.Automation and Logistics, American Journal of Operations Research,International Journal of Logistics Research, Journal of Industrial Engineeringand Engineering Management, Journal of System & Management, etc. Hisresearch has been supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China,Ministry of Education of Humanities and Social Sciences Project and InnovationProgram of Shanghai Municipal Education Commission and granted a patent ofinvention.
