主要从事昆虫生态学、农业景观生态控害功能研究。2008年毕业后留江西农业大学农学院/昆虫研究所从事昆虫学教学和科研工作，2010年9月-2014年1月到中国农业科学院植物保护研究所吴孔明院士课题组从事博士后研究，2014年1月-2014年12月，Wageningen University博士后。兼任中国中国植物保护学会青年工作委员会副主任、中国昆虫学会农业昆虫专业委员会委员。

发表论文80 多篇, Journal of Applied Ecology, Agriculture, Ecosystem & Environment, Journal of Pest Science等SCI刊物发表学术论文40多篇，参编专著（教材）4部
