Dr. Xiaolei Wang graduated from Shanghai JiaotongUniversity in 1985, obtained masterdegree from China University of Mining & Technology in 1989, and Ph.D.from Tohoku University,Japanin 2001. He also has theresearch experiences in The National Instituteof Standards & Technology,USA, and Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich, Switzerland.

Dr. Wang has started his research career on tribology since 1985. Currently, he is the professor of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, he also serves for the Journal of Tribology as an associate editor. His research interests include surface texture design for tribological purpose, lubrication with ferrofluid, and wear particle analysis.
