研究领域：

1. 蜡蝉分类及系统发育相关研究；

2. 蜜蜂、熊蜂等资源开发及利用研究 

     主要从事蜡蝉总科瓢蜡蝉科、扁蜡蝉科分类及系统发育研究；开展了蜜蜂、熊蜂等传粉昆虫物种多样性、营养需求、授粉德国方面研究。目前在《Zootaxa》、《Zookeys》、《Florida Entomologist》等杂志共发表论文30余篇。
