Ruyang Zhang, B.Med, PhD, is a Full Professor of Epidemiology and Biostatistics in Nanjing Medical University (Nanjing, China), Affiliate Research Scientist of Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and is the elected member of the Outstanding Young Backbone Teacher of Qing Lan Project of Jiangsu Province and the Outstanding Young Level Academic Leadership Training Program of Nanjing Medical University. He achieved B.Med of Preventive Medicine (Biostatistics) and PhD of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at School of Public Health, Nanjing Medical University (Mentor: Professor Feng Chen) and finished two-year postdoctoral research works of genetic oncology at School of Public Health, Harvard University (Advisor: Professor David C. Christiani).

Dr. Zhang’s major research interests primarily lie in the gene-gene, gene-environment and environment-environment interaction study of risk and prognosis of complex diseases of respiratory system (e.g., lung cancer and ARDS), risk and prognostic prediction model construction of complex diseases, and methodology of clinical trials. Funded by National Natural Science Foundation of China, Natural Science Foundation of Jiangsu Province, Harvard-NIOSH Education and Research Center Pilot Study, Natural Science Foundation of the Jiangsu Higher Education Institutions of China,  etc., he published a series of SCI-indexed papers as first and corresponding authors, including Journal of Thoracic Oncology (2022),  Intensive Care Medicine (2017), Journal of Advanced Research (2024), Thorax (2025), Molecular Cancer (2021), JAMA Network Open (2021), eBioMedicine (2023/2022/2018), NPJ Precision Oncology (2025/2021), Chest (2020), Chinese Medical Journal (2025), Burns & Trauma (2024), Statistics in Medicine (2024), etc. Dr. Zhang was awarded the Second Prize of Outstanding Scientific Research Achievement Award of Ministry of Education of China (2019) and Second Prize of Medical Science and Technology of Jiangsu Province (2020).

张汝阳，博士、哈佛大学博士后、公共卫生学院生物统计学系教授、哈佛大学公共卫生学院客座研究员(Affiliate Research Scientist)、南京医科大学第三附属医院互聘教授、南京儿童医院兼职教授，省级优秀本科毕业论文导师、校级优秀硕士毕业论文导师，入选江苏省333高层次人才培养工程(第三层次)、江苏省高校“青蓝工程”优秀青年骨干教师、南京医科大学优秀中青年学科(学术)带头人培养对象。担任中国卫生信息与健康医疗大数据学会卫生统计学教育专委会秘书长、中国初级卫生保健基金会医学统计公益基金专委会常务委员、中国卫生信息与健康医疗大数据学会统计与理论方法专委会委员、江苏省研究型医院学会重症临床研究分会副主任委员等学术团体职务。

本科毕业于南京医科大学首届生物统计学专业，同年免试攻读本校流行病与卫生统计学专业博士，毕业后留校任教。曾在美国哈佛大学从事呼吸系统疾病基因组学博士后工作。主要研究兴趣是生物医学高维数据统计理论方法及临床应用，累计发表学术论文超百篇。其中，以第一、通讯作者身份发表一系列高质量论文，包括：Journal of Thoracic Oncology (2022)、Intensive Care Medicine (2017)、Journal of Advanced Research (2024)、Thorax (2025)、Molecular Cancer (2021)、JAMA Network Open (2021)、eBioMedicine (2023/2022/2018)、NPJ Precision Oncology (2025/2021)、Chest (2020)、Chinese Medical Journal (2025)、Burns & Trauma (2024)、Statistics in Medicine (2024)等。部分成果被遴选为Journal of Thoracic Oncology主编推荐论文、Molecular Oncology杂志封面论文、2020年度亮点研究，被WHO主办的2020 World Cancer Day收录，被Elsevier出版社《环境健康百科全书》和Springer出版社《重症监护与急诊医学2020年度进展》正面引用，被科技日报、学习强国等新闻报道。

先后主持国家自然科学基金·面上项目、国家自然科学基金·青年基金、美国国家职业安全卫生研究所先导项目、江苏省自然科学基金等10余项。作为核心研究骨干，参与国家重点研发计划·战略性国际科技创新合作重点专项、国家自然科学基金重点项目、国家自然科学基金重点国际(地区)合作研究项目、国家自然科学基金专项项目等。曾获教育部高等学校科学研究优秀成果奖自然科学二等奖、江苏医学科技奖二等奖、首届人卫慕课在线开放课程建设比赛微课制作全国一等奖、全国高校微课教学比赛三等奖等。指导本科生获中国计算机设计大赛国赛一/二等奖、江苏省普通高校本科优秀毕业论文三等奖、中国高校SAS数据分析大赛国赛一/二等奖、MathorCup高校数学建模挑战赛国赛二等奖等。
