2.assure sb of sth（向某人确保...）

  2.1购物时，商家都会assure you of the products’ quality（向你保证商品的质量），而且还常对买家说，I can assure you, it is genuine（我向你保证，货是真的），假一罚十

  2.2作为你的闺蜜，无论你做什么决定，I can assure you of my full support（我保证全力支持你）

3. assure sb后面还可以衔接that 从句，比如：艳照门曝光后，陈冠希曾assured the public that 

 he would be away from Hong Kong entertainment industry （向公众承诺退出香港娱乐圈）

4. “you can rest assured that”表示“请你放心”，比如，You can rest assured that I shall do what I have promised（你放心，我说到做到）
