1.there be句型的不定式形式及其语法功能

there be存在句的动词不定式形式有五种，即there be，there to be，there to have been，for there to be和for there to have been。这种结构在句子中主要作主语、表语、动词宾语，介词宾语和状语。我们可以把这五种形式与我们在不定式中经常见到的himdo，himto do和for himto do三种形式类比。请观察:

(1)there be的用法。

Let there be no mistake:the Oxford public strongly support the police and they have our confidence．(there be no mistake是复合宾语)

不要搞错了:牛津的公众坚决支持警察，而且他们得到了我们的信任。

Oh no，let there be light and my match has gone out．

啊，不!要带上灯。我的火柴没了。

Let there be no pretence between us，if you please．

(2)there to be的用法。

(5)for there to have been的用法。

It was too much of a coincidence for there to have been two Johns of similar size and age．
