三、地点状语从句

地点状语从句表示动作发生的地点。引导地点状语从句常见的从属连词有where，wherever。相当于in/at the place where或者相当于to the place where。(参见定语从句)

Take him where it is quiet．

把他带到安静的地方去。

I'll drive where you are going．

我要开车把你带到你准备去的地方。

Stay where you are．

呆在原处。

I'm not living where I was．

我已不在原处住了。

有时地点状语从句兼有抽象条件含义。

Wherever there is smoke，there is fire．
