六、感叹句的间接引语

感叹句一般很少变为间接引语。如果必须转述，通常用其他词语来表达原句的意义和情感。

“What a brave boy!”the man said．

“多么勇敢的男孩啊!”那人说。

→he man remarked with admiration what a brave boy he was．

那人赞叹说他是个多么勇敢的男孩。

“Goodness me!”he said．“What a great deal of work you have done!”

“天哪!”他说，“你干了这么多的工作!”

→He expressed considerable surprise that I had done such a great deal of work．

他对我干了这么多工作表示很惊讶。

He said．“Alas!How foolish I have been!”

他说:“哎呀!我多傻啊!”

→He confessed with regret that he had been very fool．

他后悔地承认他太傻了。

提示：

有些感叹句在转述时，通常要根据原句的意义采用适当的动词变为陈述句。

He said to me，“How are you?”→He greeted me．

“Happy New Year!”→He wished me a happy New Year．

“Yes．”→He agreed．
