11.宾语从句中的虚拟语气

在动词suggest，advise，beg，order，demand，propose，request，require，command，insist，prefer，ask，decide等后的宾语从句中用虚拟语气(即“should+动词原形”或只用动词原形)来表示愿望、建议、命令、请求等。(参见虚拟语气)

I suggest that we(should)set off at once．

我建议我们马上出发。

The doctor insisted that the patient(should)be X-rayed．

医生要求这个病人拍一张X光片。

He desired that we get everything ready by tonight．

他希望我们今晚准备好一切东西。

The commanding officer decided that no one be admitted without a special pass．

指挥官决定没有特别通行证谁也不准进来。
