10.宾语从句的时态呼应

如果主句的谓语是过去时，宾语从句的时态应按“时态呼应”规则调整成“过去”范畴的相应时态。

He said that he would fly to Egypt the next day．

他说他第二天将飞往埃及。

She remembered that she had left her umbrella in the library．

她记起她把伞忘在图书馆了。

但若宾语从句表示的是客观真理或普遍现象，从句仍应保持“现在”范畴时态，不可“呼应”调整。

The teacher told us that light travels faster than sound．

老师告诉我们光速比音速快。

Marx said when a person is learning a foreign language，he must not always be translating everything into his own language．

马克思说当一个人在学外语时，不要老是把什么都译成本族语。

Many of the speakers at the Johannesburg summit said that education is the key to the future．(人教大纲版高二上第68页)
