1.在“It is time(that)．．”从句中

在“it is(high/about)time(that)．．”后面的定语从句中常用过去式或过去进行时或者用“should+动词原形”表示虚拟语气。此句型表示“早就该……”。

I'm afraid I have to go now．It's time I went and picked up my little girl from school．

恐怕我要走了，我要去把我的小女儿从学校接回来。

It is time I were leaving．

我早就该走了。

It is about time you were in bed．

你该睡了。

It is high time that we put an end to this discussion．
