4.在be surprised等引导的宾语从句中

在表示惊奇、怀疑和惶惑的形容词后面，常用“should+动词原形”或者“should+have done”。

We were surprised that they shouldn't have invited our teacher at all．

他们居然没请我们老师，我们感到很惊讶。

He was very anxious that the meeting the following day should be a success．

他急切地希望第二天的会议举办成功。

The head is eager that all the workers should be in time．

头儿希望所有的工人都准时。
