2.在wish引导的宾语从句中

wish后的宾语从句要用虚拟语气，表示与实际情况相反的愿望，其中对发生在wish以前的虚拟语气用had done或could/might/would have done;对发生在wish同时的虚拟语气用were/did;对发生在wish之后的虚拟语气用could/ might/would do。

How I wished that I were able to say the grammatical rules without a mistake．

当时我多想不犯一个错误就能说出那些语法规则啊!

I wished I were not so worried．Then I would not have had the accident．

我要是不那么忧虑就好了，那也就不会发生那场事故了。

There were days when I wished that I were dead so that I would not have to feel so sick．(人教大纲版高二上第55页)

有一段时间我宁愿自己死了，这样我就不会感觉这么痛苦了。

I wish I could have slept longer this morning，but I had to get up and come to class．

从上述诸例可以看出，wish所跟的宾语从句中的虚拟语气的谓语动词形式与主句的时态无关，要根据它与主句动作的时间差而定。
