11.否定意义的关联词位于句首时

当一些否定意义的关联词如no sooner．．than(刚……就)，scarcely．．when/ before(刚……就)，hardly．．when(刚……就)，not．．only．．(but)also(不但……而且)，neither．．nor(既不……也不)等位于句首时，该句子须部分倒装。

No sooner was he back home than it began to rain．

他刚一回家，就下雨了。

提示：

在no sooner．．than句型中，主句更多的时候用过去完成时。

Alas，no sooner had he started than he realized it was no longer what he wanted．

唉!他刚开始就意识到这个不再是他所要的了。

Scarcely had they started lunch when the doorbell rang．

他们刚开始吃饭，门铃就响了。

Scarcely had I retired be fore my labor began．

我才退休，又要开始工作了。

Hardly had I solved the problem when a new one arose．

我刚解决了这个问题，又出现了新的问题。
