1.不定式的一般式

不定式的一般式所表示的动作通常与主要谓语的动作同时或几乎同时发生，或是在它之后发生。

They invited us to go there this summer．(之后)

他们邀请我们今年夏天去那儿。

He stood aside for me to pass．(之后)

他站到一边让我通过。

Can you be here before 8 o'clock?(之后)

你能八点钟之前到吗?

You must be careful．(同时)

你必须小心。

They often watch us play ball games．(同时)

他们常看我们打球。He managed to carry the box himself．(同时)他设法自己扛了箱子。

不定式的一般式也有表示发生在主要谓语的动作之前的。

He is the first man in China to take part in the Olympic Games．他是中国参加奥运会的第一人。
