动名词具有名词的特征，作主语。

徒步旅行是一种很棒的旅行方式。

上大学对多数人来说真的是理想的经历吗?

提示：

动词不定式也可以作主语。但是在疑问句中，作主语的不定式必须用形式主语it先行，而动名词则不受此限。
