2.“不及物动词+介词”结构的被动语态

常见的能用于被动语态的这类短语动词有agree to，agree upon/on，arrive at(a conclusion)，ask for，break into，call for，call upon/on，care for，deal with，dream of，do for(使完蛋)，laugh at，listen to，looked at，look after，look for，look into(an accident)，operate on，rely on，run over，see to，send for，talk about，think of，等等。

“She's done for，”he said to himself．(人教大纲版高二上第79页)

“船完了，”他自言自语道。

The house was well cared for．

房子保管得很好。

Patience is called for if you are to be a teacher．

如果你想做老师，就需要耐心。

No one can come in while the patient is being operated on．

在给病人做手术的时候谁也不能进来。

The bell was listened to to strike．

人们在听，等待着钟声敲响。

提示：

The bell was listened to to strike．的主动形式是People listened to the bell strike．作宾补用的不带to的不定式strike在被动语态中不再是宾补，而是作主补，因此要补上to。又:We looked at the girl jump的被动形式是The girl was looked at to jump．
