7.用于各种从句

过去进行时用于状语从句、定语从句和名词性从句中。

(1)用于状语从句。

He met Kate Cap shaw，who is an actress，when he was working on one of his films．(人教大纲版高一上第32页)

他在执导一部片子时结识了女演员凯特·卡普肖。

Painters and workers had to be very careful when they were trying to bring the city back to life．(人教大纲版高一上第45页)

画家和工匠在努力使城市恢复生机时必须小心认真。

(2)用于定语从句。

I walked into the room where three people were waiting to interview me．(03人教版高一下第55页)

He hurried to a place from which others were fleeing．(人教大纲版高二上第76页)

(3)用于名词性从句。
