6.表示将来

现在进行时表示将来常常含有“意图”的意思，这种现在进行时比较生动，给人一种期待感。

Tell someone where you are going．(人教大纲版高一上第17页)

告诉别人你准备去哪里。

How are you getting to the airport?Is anybody seeing you off?(人教大纲版高一上第19页)

你怎么去机场?有人给你送行吗?

I am arriving soon．

我马上就到。

I am not going．

我不想走了。

I'm not waiting any longer．

我不再等了。

提示：

有时意图的体现者不是句子的主语，而是说话人。(参见be going to表示将来时态)

You are staying．

你留下吧。

Don't forget．You are taking part．

不要忘了，你也要参加。

现在进行时表示将来，有些时候还用于状语从句，表示将来正在进行的动作。

如果你到北京来，一定要让我知道啊。

When you are walking in the bushes，make sure that you don't smoke．

当你在灌木丛中行走的时候，务必记住不要吸烟。
