5.be going to+不定式

(1)这一结构的主要意义一是表示“意图”，即按计划安排在将来做某事。

Before I decide what I'm going to write，I have to discuss the article with my editor．(人教大纲版高二上第11页)

在决定写什么之前，我得和编辑讨论要写的文章。

We are going to call a meeting to discuss it．

我们打算开一个会议讨论这件事。

提示：

有时意图的体现者不是句子的主语。

There is going to be a close foot ball match between China and Japanese．

中国队和日本队将有一场势均力敌的足球赛。

He is not going to cheat me again．

他别想再骗我了。(“意图”的体现者不是he，而是说话者“我”)

“be going to+不定式”用在条件句中时，通常含有“想要”的意思，相当于want(s)to。(参见状语从句)

If an actor is going to play a policeman，he or she may spend a month following a real policeman to watch how he works and lives．(人教大纲版高一下第87页)

比如，如果一个演员打算扮演警察，他(她)或许要花一个月的时间跟着真正的警察去观察他是如何工作和生活的。

I was going to attend a meeting then．

当时我打算去出席一个会议。

They said that they were going to play tennis that afternoon．

他们说他们那天下午准备去打网球。

提示：

“was/were going to+不定式”结构表示过去将来的动作时，可以表示没有实现的动作。

I was going to attend the party，but I had an unexpected visitor．

我本来是准备参加聚会的，但是有一位不速之客到访。(所以没有来)

Last Sunday we were going to go for a picnic but it rained．

上个星期天我们本打算去野餐的，但是由于下雨没有去成。

(2)be going to的另一意义是表示“预见”，即从已有迹象预见将要发生或者即将发生的某种情况。

I must hurry，I'm going to be late．

我得快点，就要迟到了。

Look at the black clouds，there is going to be a stormsoon．

看看那些黑云，暴风雨就要来了。

No matter how hard you try，working towards a career for which you are not suitable is not going to get you there．(人教大纲版高三第98页)

无论你多么努力，硬是要去做一件并不适合你做的工作，是不会取得成功的。
