1.should/ought to表示“劝说”、“敦促”

should/ought to可以表示“劝说”或“敦促”。用should口气较肯定一些，说话人的主观信心要强烈一些，而ought to在口气上不是那么坚定。

You should not go rafting unless you know how to swim，and you should always wear a life jacket．(人教大纲版高一上第18页)

如果不会游泳，就不要去做木筏漂流。漂流必须始终穿上救生衣。

He should do something to help her．

他应该做点什么去帮她。

We ought to learn more about our body and the fuel itneeds to keep fit．(人教大纲版高一下第4页)

我们应该更好地了解自己的身体，了解需要什么养分能够维持自己的健康。

You should/ought to drink less．

你最好少喝酒。

You should mind your own business．

你管好你自己的事吧。
