1.省略谓语的一部分或省略谓语的全部

在比较级中，有时省略谓语的一部分或省略谓语的全部。如果谓语是行为动词，比较状语从句常用代动词。

I know I look older than my age(is)．(人教大纲版高一下第17页)

我知道我看上去比我的实际年纪要大些。

The end of the play wasn't so good as the beginning(was)．

这个剧的结尾不及开头好。

This book isn't so nearly expensive than the other one(is)．

这本书远不及另外那本书贵。

He bought fewer books than I(did)．

他买的书比我的少。

The film was as instructive as，or more instructive than the one we'd seen(was)．

这部电影与我们看过的那部一样有教育意义。不!我是说更具有教育意义。
