1.当名词是单数名词时

当名词是单数名词时，可以将名词置于比较级中间，也可将名词放在比较级前。

(1)在“as．．as”结构中。

George is as clever a boy as Jack．

=George is a boy as clever as Jack．

乔治和杰克一样聪明。

This is as great a success as I expected．

=This is a success as great as I expected．

这次成功跟我预期的一样。

I haven't seen as old a car as this for years．

=I haven't seen a car as old as this for years．

我好多年没有看到这样旧的老爷车了。

I can't drink as sweet coffee as this．

=I can't drink coffee as sweet as this．

我喝不了这样甜的咖啡。

(2)在“比较级+than”结构中。

He has a much larger house than ours．

=He has a house much larger than ours．

他家的房子比我们的大多了。

I haven't seen an older car than this for years．

=I haven't seen a car older than this for years．

我好多年没有看到这样旧的老爷车了。
