This is a letter from the seller to the buyer asking for amendment to the L/C w ith part shipment allowed.

In the letter，the seller advises the buyer that the first lot of 10 sets Safety Pin Machines has been shipped and a full set of copy documents is enclosed.

请传真确认以便我们要求厂方加速交货。

你方十月一日函收悉，该函要求我方把上述订单项下货物的装运方式加以调整。

我们了解到你方愿将原定在2000年1、2月份平均装运之货改为2000年11月份装百分之八十，其余部分在12月份装。

此复，我们愿告知你方虽然我们从库存中能供应上述订单的货物，但船公司告知我们不论是班轮还是不定期的船只，其驶往你方口岸者不仅稀少而且相隔时间又长，到十一月底舱位已完全订出去了。在这种情况下，我们碍难答应你方要求。

然而，假如你方能允许在香港转船，我们将尽最大努力与船公司磋商把第一批货在十一月装出。这样做你方势必负担附加费用。即使这样，我们也拿不准所提到的货物能否比原来规定的时间早一些到达你方。

请对上述情况予以考虑，尽快将你方的决定告知我方。

2. Translate the follow ing into English:
