I. About the letter:

In foreign trade，it is very important that shipment should bemade in strict accordance w ith the prescribed time of the contract. The earlier the shipment ismade，the sooner the proceeds can be collected.

In this letter，the buyer makes complaints about the seller's failure in making a timely delivery in a very politemanner and presses for immediate dispatch of the shipmentwhich has long been overdue.

III. Chinese version of the letter:

关于我方以前发去的信函，迄今未收到你方对标题合同交货日期的消息，特提请你方注意。

我方已于前函告知你方，用户急需所订货物，而且要求我方做出及时交货的保证。

在此情况下，显然我们对8月21日到期的第3059号信用证再行展期是办不到的，我们不能不再次提醒你方注意。

有关各方都渴望你方立即办理交货事宜，希望尽快收到你方装船通知。

b. ow ing to some delay in the sailing scheduled，we w ill have to ship the goods at the beginning of nextmonth

c. ow ing to the problem of supply，we are unable to advance shipment

d. ow ing to the late arrival of your L/C，we cannot see our way(clear) to deliver the goods under your order No.3335 w ithin the contractual time of shipment. You are requested to extend the validity of L/C No.11236 till the end of September under advice to us
