I. About the letter:

This letter serves as an advice of shipment. The seller is under the obligation to advise the buyer of the shipment when the goods are shipped on board，especially under FOB and CFR terms，so that the buyer can cover insurance and make preparations to take delivery of the goods.

The last two paragraphs are used to convince the buyer that he always holds on to the contract and keeps to his prom ise.

II. Additional notes:

1. sail v.起航，开航

The steamer sails(=w ill sail) next Monday.该轮下周一启航。

sailing adj.有关船或船运的

sailing date启航日期

The next sailing opportunity is September 10.

下次船期是九月十日。

sailing n.航行;船期

There are no more sailing thismonth.本月不再有船。

2. comprise v.包括

The enclosed list comprises our present availabilities in this line.

所附货单包括我方目前所能供应的这类商品。
