安妮公主在欧洲之行中不堪繁务重压,悄悄出走罗马街头,遇到新闻记者乔。乔本想借机写个头条新闻发笔横财,他陪公主在罗马过了愉快的一天,却在相处中萌生了爱意。虽然安妮最后恢复了她的真实身份,乔也改变主意没卖出什么新闻。但罗马珍贵的记忆将长存在两人内心深处。

Joe: 5) If you don’t count me, yes.

Anne: So I spent the night here, with you.

Joe: Well, now, I don’t know that I’d use those words... exactly. But... from a certain angle...yes.

Anne: How do you do?

Joe: How do you do.

Anne: And you are...

Joe: Bradley, Joe Bradley.

Anne: Delighted.

Joe: 6) You don’t know how delighted I am to meet you.

Anne: You may sit down.

Joe: Thank you very much. What’s your name?

Anne: You may call me Anya.

Anne: Thank you.

Journalist: And what, in the opinion of Your Highness, is the outlook for the friendship among nations?

Anne: I have every faith in it, as I have faith in relations between people.

Anne: I am so glad to hear you say it.

Journalist: Which of the cities visited did Your Highness enjoy the most?

Anne: Each in its own way was unforgettable. It would be difficult to... Rome. 10) By all means Rome. I will cherish8 my visit here in memory as long as I live.
