Objectives

1. To learn about British economy in the past and at present, the reasons why British economy shows a sign of decline;

2. To learn about the recent history of its economy ranging from 1970s to 1990s;

3. To learn about the current U.K. economy including three main areas—primary industries, secondary industries, tertiary or service industries and each of its characteristics.
