Gansu Political Sciences and Law College,Lanzhou,Gansu,China.Professor Fu Yaozu was bom on 24th March 1928 at

Yinchuan,Ningxia,China.He attended the National PekingUniversity,1948.He was appoint-ed Vice Director of Theoretical

Propaganda Depatrtment of Gansu Daily,1952-56,Vice Director of Economics Teaching and Research Section of Gansu Provincial

Party School,1956-71,Vice Head of Office of Gansu Physical and Sports Committee,1972-80,Vice President of Gansu Social

Sciences Academy,1980 -82,President of Gansu Social Sciences Acade-my,1983-88,President of Gansu Political Sciences and Law

College,1988 to present,Guest Professor of Lanzhou Business College since 1987,Special Research Fellow of Research Centre of

Gansu Province Govemment Since 1990.Professor Fu Yaozu is a council member of Sociology Institute of China,Vice Chairman of

Gansu Association of So -cial Sciences Institutes,Honorary President of Gansu Sociology Institute,Advisor of Gansu Economics

Institute,and Vice President of Gansu De -mography Institute.His publications include Textbook of Political Eco-

nomics,1962.Introduction to Chinese Industry Economic System of Re-sponsibility,1986,Research on Chinese Political System

Reform of Coun-ty,1993.He is recipient of the National Scien and Technology Progres-sion Award,1986,Second Prize of Social

Sciences Outstanding Books of 15 Northern Provinces of China,1987,First Prize of Gansu Social Sciences.

Outstanding Achievements,1988,Gansu Outstanding Books,1990,State Council Certificate of Government Special Allowance Provding

for Expert Possessed of Outatanding Contributions,1992.His main interests include social sciences research,research on

Economic system and Political system reform of China.
