156.What should a tour guide do when the group misses the plane?(如旅游团误机,导游员应怎样处理?)

★Immediately report to the offi ce, seeking assistance.

★Apologize to tourists and comfort them.

★Try to minimize the loss. (Contact the airport as soon as possible to see whether the group can take the next fl ight.)

★If all efforts fail, arrange accommodation and sightseeing of the group during the detention.

★Notify the next stop.

★Submit a detailed report to the offi ce (including analysis of causes and lessons learned).

★Compensation should be given according to the instructions of the travel agency.
